Oie Voaldyn are not holding this years fire festival as it has not raised sufficient funds to cover all the overheads and infrastructure costs.
The event in Peel on a May summers evening is a sound and light spectacular normally with torch light parades, bonfire and fireworks.
It suggests that it may return in 2025, but is on the lookout for sponsors.
