Fines totalling £30,690 have been issued to six individuals and 15 businesses for income tax and national insurance related offences.
Thirteen businesses failed to pay Income Tax Instalment Payments and/or Class 1 National Insurance Contributions by the due date.
Fines
The companies below totalled fines of £28,790:
- The ICUE Football Academy Limited, of Red Gap, Castletown, 4 offences, fined £1,850;
- AGR Motorsport Limited, of Balthane Industrial Estate, Ballasalla, 5 offences, fined £1,250;
- Bespoke Vehicle Sales Limited, of Isle of Man Business Park, Douglas, 4 offences, fined £1,850;
- Cedarmann Smart Rooms Limited, of Spring Valley Trading Estate, Braddan, 2 offences, fined £1,550;
- China Town (IOM) Limited, of Strathallan Crescent, Douglas, 10 offences, fined £2,350;
- Haven Homes Limited, of Station Road, Port Erin, 10 offences, fined £4,180;
- Kurries and Steak Limited, of Governor’s Hill, Douglas, 17 offences, fined £4,450;
- MBM Restaurants Limited, of Harcroft Meadow, Douglas, 10 offences, fined £2,950;
- Number Seven Partners Limited, of Athol Street, Douglas, 6 offences, fined £2,330;
- Phoenix Bay Hotel and Resorts Limited, of Station Road, Port Erin, 8 offences, fined £2,500;
- Platinum Hair and Beauty Limited, of Ballacross Road, Peel, 1 offence, fined £1,000;
- Si Fulton Motors Limited, of Cooil Road, Braddan, 6 offences, fined £2,330;
- The Grosvenor, The Great Hunter Public House Limited, of Andreas, Isle of Man, 2 offences, fined £200.
Whilst five individuals were fined a total of £1,900 for failure to comply with a Notice to submit Accounts in support of a Tax Return.
