Pedestrian airlifted to hospital for further treatment

A pedestrian has been airlifted to the UK following a crash involving an ambulance yesterday.

The incident happened on Ballakermeen Road on Sunday afternoon.

Pictures show the ambulance with extensive damage with other vehicles with sustained damage.

Manx Care says its continuing to work with the Isle of Man Constabulary to investigate the circumstances of the incident.
