Peel overtook Ayre Utd at the top of the Canada Life Premier League this weekend, with the westerners beating Ramsey 3-0 at Douglas Road.
Leading at half-time through Tom Brown and Rhys Oates, Peel added a late third when Paul Whitehead scored from the bench. Title rivals Ayre meanwhile again dropped points, drawing 2-2 at home with Onchan.
Elsewhere, there were big wins for Corinthians and Union Mills, while Manx football’s El Clásico saw St Georges pick up a decent point drawing 2-2 with Laxey.
Down in Div2, Old Boys dropped points at home as they drew 3-3 with a determined Governors Athletic, while RYCOB continued their bid to claw back Old Boys and Braddan, beating Michael Utd 1-4 at Balleira Road.
