Perree Bane has showcased Manx dance on the international stage after travelling to North Wales for the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod.
This year the festival featured performers from 23 countries.
The group delivered a series of performances and workshops across the festival site and around Llangollen, introducing audiences to traditional Manx steps and stories.
A workshop at a local high school proved a standout moment, with students quickly picking up Manx routines and engaging with the Island’s Celtic heritage.
Chair Ben Harris said it was “a joy” to see young people embrace Manx culture, while dancer Carol Hayes noted the challenge of performing in 32°C heat while wearing traditional Loaghtan‑wool costumes.
Perree Bane said events like the Eisteddfod help strengthen cultural ties and keep Manx traditions thriving.
The group thanked the Isle of Man Arts Council, Steam Packet Isle of Man, and festival organisers for their support, and said they look forward to future opportunities to share Manx dance with international audiences.
