Diesel prices at the petrol station in EVF stores have jumped by 52p per litre as a new delivery arrives at the store.
Corkill’s, which sells EVF petrol and diesel, was without diesel over the weekend as drivers rushed the pumps.
The EVF sites which did have diesel yesterday were selling it for 137.9p per litre, that has now risen to 189.9p per litre.
At the same time, petrol has rise by more than 20p to 157.9p per litre and super unleaded has risen to 164.9 per litre.
The Milestone on Peel Road is selling diesel at 185.9per litre.
In a post on its Facebook page, EVF also warned prices are “potentially going to rise further once we have final pricing”.
Adding: “We will know this tomorrow.”
