Plans For Housing to go to CoMin For Deliberation

A planning application for two houses next to the former Waterfall Pub in Glen Maye will be going to the Council of Ministers for deliberation.

It was due to be discussed by the Planning Committee, but the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture has a ‘vested interest’ in the car park and there’s also a legal covenant on the land.

The applicant is seeking approval for two semi-detached properties and a commercial building ‘resembling’ an ‘old cottage’.

Twelve parking spaces have been allocated to this application and another plan, leaving 21 for members of the public visiting the glen and beach.
