The Isle of Man Constabulary are investigating a matter whereby fire extinguishers were set off in and around the area of Castle Street, Douglas.
Officers are unsure where the extinguishers have been taken from, and are appealing for any witness to come forward.
The force hopes to find out where the extinguishers have come from.
