A theft of home fuel has led to the Police reminding people to secure oil tanks.
Officers are currently dealing with a theft of home fuel.
The cops are now asking people when was the last time they checked to make sure their Oil tank is secure.
As the nights are starting to become darker, the constabulary warns that opportunists thefts may start to rise.
Anything as simple as a security light and/or a padlock will help deter these opportunists.
