Roads policing officers has seized a vehicle after its driver was arrested on suspicion of driving whilst unfit.
On inspection, the car was found to have worn tyres.
The RPU said: “If our suspicions are correct, the bad choice made by this driver, risked the lives of those carrying out their daily business.
“On closer examination multiple defects were identified with the vehicle, and as such, the vehicle wasn’t fit for the road either!
“Unfit driver + Unfit vehicle = danger to others. Sadly we can’t quantify the impact of taking this driver / vehicle off the road, but we’ll sleep better tonight anyway!”
