Port Erin RNLI has welcomed two fundraisers taking on an ambitious challenge to visit every one of the RNLI’s 238 lifeboat stations around the British Isles.
Allan and Helen Thornhill arrived at the station on Saturday as stop 184, shortly after calling in at Port St Mary.
Their journey marks the RNLI’s 200th anniversary and aims to raise funds for the charity’s lifesaving work.
The pair from Smallfield in Surrey, went on to visit Douglas, Peel and Ramsey later the same day, bringing their total to 187 stations, with 51 remaining.
Their next leg will take them to the Channel Islands on March 6.
They have set up a JustGiving page to help reach their fundraising target of £4,760, with all donations going directly to the RNLI.
