Christmas parking on the Loch Prom walkway begins today, in time for the Christmas lights switch-on and the start of late-night shopping.
The designated parking area is solely on Loch Promenade, with no parking permitted on Harris Promenade near the War Memorial.
Access is via the entrance opposite the Gaiety Theatre, with one-way traffic running south. The exit is next to the shelter opposite Victoria Street.
All vehicles must display a parking disk, with a maximum stay of two hours, or four hours for vehicles displaying a disabled badge.
This walkway parking will be available throughout the festive period until the morning of Thursday January 8.
