The Isle of Man’s public sector workforce will receive a 3.20% pay rise, backdated to 1 April 2026, after the Public Services Commission (PSC) formally signed off this year’s pay award. The confirmation came in a joint bulletin issued by the PSC, Prospect and Unite, covering civil servants, manual and craft workers, Department of Education non‑teaching staff, NTNSP employees and others on analogous terms.
The agreement, signed on 24 June 2026, triggers a four‑month arrears payment covering April through July, scheduled to land in August’s payroll. Allowances linked to the annual pay award will rise by the same 3.20%.
The bulletin also sets out a harmonisation of annual leave: staff with 10 years’ service will see their entitlement increase from 28 to 30 days, with the change backdated to April and PiP Support updating records by the end of August.
One key administrative condition is highlighted in that only employees in post on 24 June 2026 qualify for the backdated rise and arrears. Payroll teams are now working to implement the award within the stated timelines.
