Manx Radio has submitted plans to add a new entrance lobby to the side of its Douglas Head HQ.
The station’s application also include proposals for solar panels on the roof.
In the plans, it says the new entrance doors, on the side of the building at the bottom of the ramp from the road, will be “sized to allow for wheelchair access”.
Although the building currently has no internal facilities to allow wheelchair users to access the upper levels and the state owned and subsidised broadcaster has not outlined any plans to install this in its application.
