FC Isle of Man lost their final away game of the NWCFL Premier Division season 2-1 at Burscough on Saturday afternoon.
Ste Whitley scored a trademark curling strike in the first half, but a second half strike won the three points for the home side.
Burscough took the lead after 29 minutes when Sam Turner fired past Adam Killey.
Whitley levelled up with a curling effort into the top corner to ensure the Ravens went in level at the break.
However, the second half saw Burscough claim the winner through James Salkeld.
Defeat leaves the Ravens 12 points outside the playoff spots with just eight games, all at home, to play.
Their next game. will see the Ravens welcome bottom of the table Squires Gate to the Bowl on Saturday.
