A Ste Whitley double saw FC Isle of Man pick up a win away at Glossop North End on Saturday.
The win keeps playoff hopes alive for the Ravens.
After a scoreless first half, Whitley gave Paul Jones’ side the lead midway through the second when he slotted home when played through by Dean Pinnington.
That joy was short lived as Glossop equalised from the spot.
With Glossop down to 10 men after a player reacted violently to a Tom Creer foul, the game appeared to be drifting to a 1-1 draw.
However, in added time the home side’s keeper made a mess of a kick, presenting the ball to Sean Doyle and when the Ravens; captain when to go round him, Whitley nipped in from behind and tapped the ball into an empty net to make it 1-2 to the Ravens.
Their next game is at home next Saturday when Barnoldswick Town visit the Bowl.
