A Cruise Isle of Man record was broken over the weekend with just over 2,400 passengers from the 2,620 aboard came ashore to Douglas.
Saturday (May 18) Holland America Line‘s Rotterdam cruise made her maiden call to Douglas.
The ship arrived in Douglas Bay around 7am on Saturday morning and remained until 6pm.

She had 2,620 passengers and 965 crew onboard which set a new record for the number of passengers arriving on a cruise ship in one day to the Isle of Man.
There were many shore excursions with 23 tours taking place around the Island.
Cruise Isle of Man thanked all local businesses and government departments ‘that have come together to make this possible’.
