Two ‘street-based’ youth workers are being sought for a new initiative to help young people in the north of the island.
The partnership between the Isle of Man Youth Service and Ramsey Young Persons Project (RYPP) will look to build on similar successful initiatives in Douglas and Castletown.
Nigel Howard, Principal Youth Officer, said: “This exciting partnership marks a significant step in enhancing youth engagement and support in the north.
“The roles will provide on-the-ground support and foster positive relationships with young people in their own environments – so they will be crucial for us to utilise resources in the best way and ensure we get young people’s views on what they want from us.”
The new positions will be based at the Ramsey Youth Centre on Waterloo Road. Interested people are encouraged to apply before 2 August
