Reform UK won its first Parliamentary by-election, it took Runcorn and Helsby, beating Labour by just six votes.
That win takes the number of MPs the party has to five.
However, in the local elections it is certainly winning by more than just six votes.
Nigel Farage’s party won its first mayoral contest, with former Tory MP Dame Andrea Jenkyns getting 42% of the vote in Greater Lincolnshire.
Reform UK has won control over councils including Staffordshire, Durham and Lincolnshire, amongst others.
