Regan Corrin’s has secured himself a place in this morning’s high jump final at the European Under 18 Athletics Championships in Slovakia.
Having cleared every height up to and including 2.03 metres with his first attempts, he failed with his first two efforts at 2.05 metres but cleared it at the third attempt.
This equals his PB which he set at the IOM Track & Field Championships at the NSC a fortnight ago.
There will be a field of 12 athletes in the final, of which eight (including Regan) cleared 2.05 metres yesterday afternoon.
