Marown’s relegation from the Canada Life Premier League was confirmed on Saturday as they were brushed aside 0-6 by St Georges.
It is the second relegation in two seasons for Marown after they were reprieved following Douglas Royal pulling out of the league.
Despite the win, St Georges remain in the bottom two as Onchan pulled off a famous win as they beat Ramsey 1-2 at Ballacloan.
With one relegation spot left to decide, Geordies have a game in hand over Onchan, but the O’s are a point ahead of them with 18 points.
Trouble at the Top
Peel’s title run in suffered a setback on Saturday as they were beaten 1-0 by St Mary’s at the Bowl.
That win took Mary’s second, but they are a point behind Peel having played two games more.
Mary’s were able to go second thanks to the other massive result of the weekend as Rushen United beat Corinthians 4-1 at Croit Lowey to continue their impressive second half of the season.
The Spaniards were 4-0 up at HT through goals from Charlie Jackson, Danny Lane and a Ste Riding double, with the Whites only able to pull on back late on through Dan Simpson.
It has been a good spell for Rushen which saw manager ANDY Moody named manager of the month and Scott Mason named young player of the month.
The other game in the top flight saw Foxdale beat Union Mills 2-1.

In Ardern & Druggan Division Two RYCOB picked up a walkover win as Malew were unable to field a team, Castletown beat Michael 4-0 and Pulrose beat Governors Athletic 3-1.
Old Boys also kickstarted their promotion push as they beat D&D 1-5, they remain third behind RYCOB but with a game in hand.
