The Ben-my-Chree has now left Douglas and is on her way to Heysham!
Fire drencher pipework on the vehicle deck was damaged during freight loading operations at Heysham Port overnight, delaying this morning’s sailing.
The Ben is now due in Heysham at around 4:15pm.
As a result, this afternoon’s 2:15pm sailing is now due to leave at about 6:15pm.
Passengers are asked to check in by 5:15pm.
For this evening’s 7:45pm sailing to Heysham, it is now due to leave at 11:30pm, with passengers asked to check in by 10:30pm.
The 2:15am sailing from Heysham is now due to leave at 5:30am, with passengers asked to check in by 4:30am.
The Steam Packet said: “To allow us time to complete repairs and testing this sailing will now be undertaken by the Ben-My-Chree”
