A film about Manx band The Bee Gees is being reportedly to be directed by Ridley Scott.
Paramount Pictures is rumoured to be moving fast on another high-profile biopic on the popular music group and looks to have found an A-list director to lead the project.
The three of brothers who made up The Bee Gees, grew up in Union Mills and were one of the top-selling artists of the 1960s and ’70s.

While a deal isn’t done, sources have told Deadline that Ridley Scott is in negotiations to direct the studio’s untitled Bee Gees movie.
Scott would be set to produce alongside producing partner Michael Pruss of Scott Free, Graham King through his GK Films banner and Stacey Snider
Paramount is distributing the film worldwide, with Amblin and Sister having the right to co-finance.
Barry Gibb is said to be executive producing, whilst John Logan wrote the script.
