While the temperature has risen slightly and the Mountain Road has reopened, the Met Office is warning of more wintry conditions tonight.
However, little change to temperatures over high ground will see the ongoing risk of ice today, tonight and tomorrow morning.
With rain returning by this evening, this will fall as sleet or snow over high areas (1,000 feet and above) which is expected to add only a slight accumulation to the pre-existing coverage.
The yellow warning is in place until 10am tomorrow morning.
