The ongoing work to install centre-line road studs has moved to the southern end of the Coast Road, between Laxey and Onchan.
The work will be undertaken in two phases and result in closures between the two villages.
Throughout this there will be a daily road closure in place between 9.30am and 4.30pm (week days only).
For the first phase of the studs work, the road is closed from the junction with Church Road, Lonan (southern approach to Laxey) as far as the Liverpool Arms.
All through traffic between Ramsey and Douglas should use the A18 Mountain Road.
Access to Laxey will also be available at all times from the Mountain Road via Creg ny Baa Back Road and Ballacallister Road, but this route is not suitable for large vehicles.
Access to and from properties within the area being worked on will be available at all times.
Scheduled bus services will be marshalled through the closure.
