Starting today there will be road repairs in the centre of the island on Braaid Road, before moving on to Cooil Road.
The works on Braaid Road will be between Braaid Roundabout and St Marks, while on Cooil Road it’ll be near Chibbanagh Plantation.
These works will be undertaken one at a time, with traffic management being deployed at one site at a time.
Road Repairs
There will be a temporary speed limit of 40mph imposed through each work site whilst repairs are underway.
Temporary traffic lights will be in operation to facilitate two way traffic.
Traffic lights will only be in operation after 9.30am up to about 4pm in order to not impact commuter traffic.
It is anticipated that works on both sites will be completed on or before Friday (February 14).
