The Roundhouse in Braddan will be home to a second public piano, which is being installed in memory of a local musician.
The local musician, Cody Atzori, suddenly died in 2021 at the age of 17.
His family, with the help of charity SoundCheck Isle of Man, has installed the piano at the new leisure facility.
Cody’s sister, Hebe, painted the piano and said: “The design is inspired by Cody’s love of sharks, whales and sea creatures as a kid.
“He would have notebooks full of facts about them that he liked to share and memorise. The space theme links to his love of the universe and references to it in his poetry and songs.
“Similar to the other piano at the sea terminal, the artwork is a representation of a dreamy, surreal place or afterlife.”
