Samantha Barks will return to the Isle of Man later this year for a special candlelit fundraising concert in aid of Hospice Isle of Man.
The one night event will take place at the Gaiety Theatre on Friday, November 27.
The West End and film star approached Hospice herself after learning of the charity’s funding needs, saying the organisation “means a great deal” to her.
She described the Hospice team as “heroes” whose compassion and care “is a truly beautiful thing”.
The concert will feature music and stories from across her career, including songs from Les Misérables, Oliver!, Frozen and her recent UK Cathedral Tour. Barks will also take questions from the audience, a format she says makes each performance “unique”.
Hospice’s Head of Income Generation, Vanessa Smith, said the charity was “deeply honoured” by Barks’ offer to perform.
Fresh from her role as Charity Barnum in The Greatest Showman musical, Barks continues to be one of the Island’s most successful performers. All proceeds from the concert will support Hospice’s specialist palliative and end‑of‑life care.
Tickets go on sale at 10am tomorrow via the VillaGaiety Box Office, priced at £40 for adults and £35 for concessions.
