After nearly 40 years looking over Douglas Bay, Bryan Kneale’s sculpture Yn Arreyder has been removed for a detailed condition assessment.
Year of standing out in the elements have taken their toll on the steel sculpture.
Manx National Heritage said that after assessing its overall condition it will draw up a conservation plan to treat the sculpture before returning it to public display.
It also thanked the assistance of Mann Crane Hire Limited which did the removal.
