Ballacobb Track is now closed to all vehicular traffic until March 31.
The U16 Ballacurn Road will be closed to all vehicular traffic between its junction with Ballacobb, Ballaugh and its junction with the B10 Sartfell Road.
This green lane is prone to erosion if used by vehicles over the winter months.
It has been closed in autumn until spring over the past several years in an effort to ensure it continues to be navigable each spring and summer.
The Department of Infrastructure says “respecting this temporary closure order ensures this route will be available during better weather for years to come”.
