Manx Care’s Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy team have reopened its self-referral to Outpatient Physiotherapy.
The relaunch of the self-referral means that Manx residents can get access to Physiotherapy without seeing their GP first.
The MSK service helps with a range of short and long term problems including back and neck pain, sciatica, soft tissue injuries, sprains, strains, joint and muscular pain.
The team of Chartered Physiotherapists provide a wide range of treatments including advice, support and individual rehabilitation/exercise plans for people with Musculoskeletal conditions.
Self-Referral
An electronic referral form has been developed and can be found here.
Paper versions of the self-referral form can be obtained at GP practices and can also be downloaded directly off the webpage here.
The MSK team have updated the webpage to include self-help resources which can be a great starting point to help you manage your pain and symptoms. These links offer quick, evidence-based advice to manage pain and support recovery.
