Organ Donation Isle of Man are hosting a special service for those who have been touched by organ donation or transplant.
The service will take place at 2pm on Saturday (December 6) at St George’s Church, Upper Church Street in Douglas.
A special part of the service is lighting a candle in memory of a loved one or donor.
Memorial Service
The event is being held in collaboration with Transplant Isle of Man, NHSBT and the Organ Donation Committee from Nobles Hospital.
This year attendees will be given a glass tea light holder and there will be labels available if people would like make their candle more personal.
Light refreshments are served after the service and it’s an opportunity to meet other families, chat to the committee and specialist nurses from NHSBT.
