The day we have all been waiting for is finally upon us, the shortest day.
Although Sam Turton tried to tell me it isn’t factually the shortest day, I opted to ignore his view and only listen to google’s.
As holiday lights brighten streets and the season of cheer unfolds, December 21 marks the winter solstice and is a reminder that the darkest day of the year is upon us.
This means that as of today the days will start to stretch out, and in my naive view we are half way through winter.
I can feel the seasonal depression starting to leave my body knowing that spring really is just around the corner (so are a few more storms and rubbish days).
