Race walker Tom Partington of Manx Harriers featured on the BBC TV coverage of the 3,000 metres race walk at the England Athletics Indoor Championships in Birmingham.
He won the silver medal with an excellent performance, and although his time was some way short of his best, he has had a tough few months with injury issues and will be pleased to get a solid performance under his belt in a national championship.
And a silver medal was a massive bonus too!
