Hello Little People have announced the return of their Solidarity Ticket Scheme for the fourth year.
The scheme enables 152 free tickets available for families experiencing financial or personal hardship to attend Treasure Island.
The children’s theatre company will present the original pantomime ‘Treasure Island’ at Port St Mary Town Hall from December 20 to 27.
Free tickets are distributed across local charities, schools and available to the general public through a simple, no-questions-asked application process.
Solidarity Tickets
Since launching the initiative in 2021, Hello Little People has helped hundreds of families access live theatre during the festive season.
Previous beneficiaries include Salvation Army, Crossroads Caring for Carers, Rebecca House and Isle of Man Foodbank and hundreds of tickets distributed to those in need from the general public.
The 2025 scheme is made possible through generous support from Zurich on the Isle of Man, Manx Benevolent Fund, Financial Options, Ramsey Crookall, PwC and anonymous donors.
Chloe Shimmin, Joint Artistic Director of Hello Little People, said: “We are proud to continue running the Solidarity Ticket Scheme. It provides tickets to our pantomime for those who otherwise wouldn’t be able to attend.
“Christmas can be financially demanding for many. We want to continue to give back to the community, and help more people experience the joy of theatre at Christmas. An exceptionally huge thanks to all of our donors for their support, without whom we could not continue to run this initiative.”
