Some next day special deliveries from the island will not make their UK destinations for Christmas.
Weather related issues at Liverpool Airport, the aircraft carrying the post from the Island on Monday December 23 was cancelled.
Isle of Man Post Office said: “All items will now be dispatched on the rescheduled flight at 10am today; however due to the Christmas bank holidays, these items will now be delivered on Friday December 27.
“We apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
