This morning’s Ben-my-Chree sailing to Heysham was delayed while engineers identified and fixed a technical fault.
Instead of leaving at 8:45am, the Ben left at about 10am.
As a result, this afternoon’s 2:15pm Ben-my-Chree sailing to Douglas will now depart at 3:15pm.
The company said: “All affected passengers have been notified and are asked to check in no later than 2:30pm.
“We’d like to thank our engineering team for fixing the issue quickly, our crews for working incredibly hard to ensure sailings resume as close to schedule as possible, and passengers for their patience and understanding.”
