Here we will attempt to restore some faith in humanity as several items that had been stolen earlier in the week have now been found!
Last night the IOM Constabulary put a post out about a jacket being ‘stolen’ from the Cronk Y Voddy area; thankfully it’s turned up and looks like it was all an accident and a case of mistaken identity (we’ve all been there).
All items from the jacket are secured with police and officers are trying to make contact with the owner.

More good news as another jacket (pictured) that had been reported as stolen has been located and the person responsible for taking it dealt with.
Thanks to the keen eyes of some of the Isle of Man Constabulary Roads Policing Unit and follow up work of the purple patrol section.
Although these items have reappeared it is clear that the island has had a few instances of opportunist thefts this year.
To avoid being the victim of a crime or lose items keep your property secure at all times! Guard it like you would a beer.
