Don’t shoot the messenger, but I think from my stalking of forecasts that this weekend is going to be quite the mixed bag, Sunday (March 24) looks more promising than today (March 23).
Today is going to be windy (possibly touching gale force for a time) with sunny intervals and scattered blustery showers, the showers then dying out overnight.
The wind will be a west or NW 20-25, 25-30 gusts 40-45 in places, gradually decreasing NW 15-20 late in day/overnight, 20-25 in places.
Sunday
Tomorrow is forecast to be dry with sunny intervals and easing winds, then rain arriving overnight.
Wind will be NW 15-20, 20-25 in places, decreasing West 10 during day, then backing SE 10-15 overnight, 15-20 in places.
Visibility will be good, falling moderate at times in rain later. Hill fog later.
Theres a fair bit of rain forecast overnight into Monday, with rainfall predicted to be 2-5mm.
Outlook
March, the gift that keeps on god damn giving. Monday (March 25) is going to be dull. Dull and dreary.
It’ll be cloudy with spells of rain, honestly, I’m sick of it. It is forecast to dump down 5-15mm.
Wind will be a SE 10-15, 15-20 in places, veering South.
I wish I had good news for Tuesday (March 26), but I don’t. The rain will turn patchy, some bright/ clear spells “possible”, I wish it was definite not maybe.
Wind will be a south 10-15, 15-20 in places, increasing 15-20 later, 20-25 in places.
Anyone fancy a one way trip to somewhere tropical, like the MHK’s get to swan off to? Where was it last time, Malta? Yes, I’d like that.
