For families facing financial constraints, affordable connectivity can be a lifeline that opens doors to opportunities and resources otherwise out of reach.
Recognising the importance of connectivity as an essential lifeline for work, education, and entertainment, Mike Fawkner-Corbett, Head of Consumer at Sure, said:

Debbie White, Area Debt Advice Co-ordinator at Salvation Army, said: “Broadband costs can be prohibitive to those on lower income, meaning the choice between the service and food/utility bills.
“Being able to access the internet is essential in job seeking and accessing support from agencies (charities and government departments).
“Having access to a social tariff would mean that the most vulnerable in our community would not lose connection to their support network and the people around them, which in turn provides support for their mental health.”
