Sure (IOM) Ltd has submitted a planning application to build a new mobile site in Union Mills, aimed at enhancing mobile coverage for the area.
The proposed 25-meter square lattice structure will support 2G, 3G, and 4G/4G+ services, with capacity for future technologies.
In its application company said: “The proposed mobile site will include a new structure capable of supporting multiple panel antennas, providing coverage to Union Mills and surrounding areas.”
The site will also feature a cabin for ground equipment and a perimeter fence.
The chosen location, Field 524964 near Lhergy Cripperty Rd, was selected after alternatives were deemed unsuitable.
