Tea Junction to close doors in 2025

The popular café in Douglas, The Tea Junction, is set to shut its doors after nine years in business in May 2025.

The owners took to social media to explain the reasons behind the pending closure.

It explained that while it’s ‘bittersweet to say goodbye’, they are excited about the opportunity to pass the venue on to new owners.

Tea Junction closure

There are numerous reasons for the closure, and as many other catering establishments are aware of the issues facing the industry, The Tea Junction says the ‘prosperous days are becoming sparse’.

It added that ‘rising wage costs, coupled with a turbulent inflationary world, have meant falling revenue, making it increasingly difficult to sustain the concept in its current format’.

If you’re interested in taking over the venue, contact them in the first instance by email at admin@theteajunction.im to discuss how you can make this venue your own and continue its legacy of excellence.
