There was a warning of travel disruption due to Storm Kathleen, and well, she is delivering on that promise as the travel links to leave the island have already been affected.
EasyJet has cancelled all its inbound and outbound flights for the Isle of Man today.
Storm Kathleen has brought yellow and amber weather warnings in place for rain and gales, plus coastal overtopping.
The gales will develop this morning with winds of up to 60mph in exposed areas.
Flight disruption
Not only are there no easyJet flights, but Aer Lingus has also decided to cancel its Dublin flights.
Loganair, however, hasn’t been put off by the winds, and all its flights have so far departed—rather you than me.

Given the Met Office yellow weather warnings forecast for today, Loganair is offering customers flying the opportunity to adjust travel plans without charge.

Sailings
This comes as no shock, and truthfully, I wouldn’t want to be on them in the weather, but the Steam Packet has cancelled some sailings.
The Liverpool and Heysham sailings were cancelled this morning; a decision on whether to sail to Liverpool this afternoon will be taken by 1pm.
The Belfast sailing has also been cancelled.
