Thirty young people from the Isle of Man have achieved the Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award after completing a year of volunteering, skills development, physical activity and a four‑day expedition.
Badges were presented this week at Government House by His Excellency the Lieutenant Governor, Sir John Lorimer.
More than half of this year’s Gold recipients came from Castle Rushen High School.
Across the island, over 600 young people are currently working towards their Bronze, Silver or Gold Awards.
