The Council of Ministers is looking to appoint three lay members to the Isle of Man’s Appointments Commission.
The commission is responsible for selecting and appointing members to tribunals and other public bodies, helping to ensure appointments are made fairly, transparently and on merit.
The roles are open to people who are not Members of Tynwald and who can bring independent judgement, objectivity and an interest in public service.
Successful applicants will help oversee appointment processes, review applications and support the independence of the island’s tribunal system.
Appointments are typically for a five-year term and are subject to Tynwald approval. The commission meets at least monthly, with members currently receiving £78 per session plus travel expenses.
Applications close on October 26.
