Thursday’s weather forecast

Another chilly and icy start today, but there will be plenty of sunshine later this morning and afternoon.

An amber weather warning is in force until 3pm,

Forecasters at Ronaldsway Met Office said there is still a risk of wintry showers, mainly in the afternoon and evening.

Moderate to fresh north or northwest wind and a maximum temperature of 4°C, but it will remain below freezing over the hills all day.

A cold start on tomorrow as well, with a small risk of ice at first, but the day itself is looking fine and dry, albeit with a fresh to strong westerly wind. Temperatures rising to 7°C in the afternoon.

Outlook

The weekend will be wet and windy but with milder temperatures than of late.
