Ayre United and Peel will go head to head later today to contest the first silverware of the men’s football season.
The Canada Life Premier League’s top two sides will both be looking to get their hands on what is one of the most impressive trophies in the British Isles.
Ayre, who won last year’s final between the two sides, booked their place in the final with a later Shaun Kelly winner as they edged past Laxey in the semi-final.
Peel, who have lost the last two Railway Cup finals, also had to do it the hard way as they came back from 3-1 down to win at Corinthians.
Kick off is 2pm at the King George V Bowl (to be unnecessarily fancy and give it its full name).
