Trefoil Guild Isle of Man has raised an impressive £400 for the RNLI to celebrate the lifesaving charity’s 200th anniversary.
Trefoil Guild is a branch of Girlguiding, and its members agree to support the guiding ethos – including the pledge to help other people.
The funds for the RNLI were raised when Trefoil Guild held a craft evening and a beetle drive.
It decided to donate £200 each to the Douglas and Ramsey stations as two of its guilds are based in these towns.
Members of both Eastern and Northern District Trefoil Guilds and representatives from Douglas and Ramsey RNLI stations met last week to hand over the cheques.
