The Ronaldsway Met Office has issued two yellow weather warnings for this evening and tomorrow.
Its first warning is for frost and ice which will come into effect from 7pm this evening until 3am tomorrow morning.
Clear skies and light winds will allow temperatures to fall close to zero this evening before recovering slightly overnight as the southerly wind strengthens.
Forecasters say this will allow icy patches to form in many, even low lying places, this evening.
Two Weather Warnings
The second yellow weather warning is for coastal overtopping and will come into effect from 11:30am tomorrow and will stay in place until 3am on Sunday.
The areas that are likely to be affected are:
- Shore Road Rushen;
- Castletown Promenade;
- Central and Northern Douglas Promenade.
Strong southerly winds, accompanied by large spring tides are expected to cause waves and debris to wash onto exposed roads and promenades over the weekend, around the times of high water.
High water over the weekend is at 1:13pm on Saturday and 1:36am on Sunday.
