Police say an isolated incident at an address in the Ballajora area of Maughold has been safely resolved.
Firearms officers were deployed to the incident.
Earlier the Constabulary had asked people to stay away from the area after an incident at what was described as a property at a rural area.
Police said: “Thank you to the public for their understanding and assistance.”
